The Jaipur Latisse Peaock is a high intensity print collection taking the best of Mughal art and its French and Italian collaborators. The Mughal emperors created vast artist colonies, inviting painters and craftsmen from Europe to sit with their South Asian counterparts, creating completely new concepts, styles and genres. The Jaipur Latisse Peacock collection surrounds a base tone of off-white pink Mughal print with a contrasting Hawaii Floral Print and lace style Renaissance influenced tapestry art. The base of our duvet’s panel print is our central artistic piece, accompanied by French and Indian lace motifs on the tapestries. The delicate off-white and pink hued base color on the duvet cover, supported by an intricate panel print at the bottom of the duvet, provides a rich tapestry feeling to the room. The modernish fleece print provides an interchangeable contrast to the highly ornate setting of this room.
